Our Story
Sleepy Howl-O® began after our founders adopted Flash, an energetic rat-terrier mix who developed severe skin allergies a few years after joining their family. Flash’s allergies caused dry-itchy skin, excessive dander and shedding, unpleasant odors, and restlessness.
While they couldn’t stop Flash’s allergies, the Freemans felt they could do something to help him sleep better. They tried everything from cute fluffy cloth beds, to ugly indestructible ones, and nothing worked!
So, after countless failed attempts to find a suitable sleeping option for Flash, The Freemans were inspired to create a dog bed to meet their specific needs, and those of other pet parents experiencing similar issues. The end result is our comfy and durable, Sleepy Howl-O® premium dog beds.
